Before the algorithms told us what to like, people just browsed the web until they found something that connected. The early internet was full of personal homepages like this one — delightful weirdos posting about whatever they were into, for no reason other than that they loved it.
We were there. And we think the modern internet has lost something it's never gotten back.
This site is a love letter to the spirit of that era — not the dial-up modems or the animated GIFs, but the feeling of stumbling onto someone's page and thinking: wait, someone else cares about this obscure thing as much as I do?
We care about collectors. Not what their collections are worth, or how many pieces they have — but why they started, and what it says about who they are. Every collection is a self-portrait.
Everything about this project is untouched by algorithm or optimization. It's just us — and now you — talking about the things we love in our little corner of the web. ♥
Builder. Storyteller. Making websites since the early days. Nate founded or co-founded ItStartsWith.Us, Love Drop, YouBots.ai, and about a dozen other projects that brought people together online. He doesn't collect anything — except good stories, and maybe a few hundred 1950s and 60s sci-fi paperbacks that absolutely do not count as a collection.

Blogger. Coin collector. Kind of retired. J. Money is an award-winning personal finance blogger who built one of the most beloved communities in that space over 17 years. He's also a yogi, an accidental entrepreneur, and ironically, a bit of a minimalist. He collects small batches of small things. Oh, and skateboards. But that's it.
